Street Wisdom...

I always thought that my first post on "street wisdom" - people on the street whose outfits inspired me or for some reason caught my eye (London is filled with them) - would be a complete stranger whom I would get the courage to talk with and take a picture to share with you.

Just a bit of background information: for me there is nothing more inspiring than observing people, admiring their style, trying to decipher what kind of message they are trying to send (if any), what kind of person they might be - the street is the most exciting runaway one can find :)

Well, back to my story - I really thought it would be a stranger but I had forgotten that I am lucky to be surrounded by stylish people: relatives, friends, friends of friends. So, surprisingly, the very first people I chose to feature on my very first post of "Street Wisdom" are none other than my little brother, my cousin and my cousin's girlfriend.

Shirt Expense | Jeans Mango | Oxford shoes Minelli | Handbag Bimba & Lola

In my opinion, few things are more elegant than blue jeans paired with a white shirt, it is absolutely effortlessly chic and that's exactly how I see Ana - a stylish woman with a flair to the classics. Whenever I'm with her I get lost admiring how she always manages to look elegant, practical and delightfully simple - and love her ability to pick just the right accessories :)

Shirt Ermenegildo Zegna | Jeans Salsa | Jacket Ted Baker | Hat Reiss

My little brother : I know that apart from my mother there is no one less partial when it comes to describe him, but believe me I won't be lying when I say that he is one of the most stylish men I have ever met - I love how he pays attention to detail, the collar needs to be just right, the shirt needs to have a perfect fit, the whole ensemble needs to make sense. He won't take that many chances but he is always receptive to new suggestions (for instance, he really didn't want to get the hat he is wearing until I showed him how cool he would look with it ;)) - I love how he understands and believes the importance of fashion, of looking good :)

T-shirt Boss Orange | Jeans Levi's | Shoes Aldo

My cousin is just your typical cool guy - relaxed, outgoing, doesn't live for fashion but also doesn't ignore it altogether. He will more often go for a casual look, but a carefully chosen casual look and that makes all the difference - and with that beautiful skin tone, I love when he picks a bright colour tee, it automatically sends the cool guy vibe :)

You are so sweet, its a big complemet for me be in your blog, as you are for myself someaone i always considered fashionable, elegant and most of all totally chic, because not all have the ability to wear a H&M top or blouse and make it look like a not-affordable-we-love-so-much-brand.
Anyway, im curios and cant wait for posts of your wardrobe and shoe collection.
see you soon!
