Patchwork...

More often than not I will wake up with no idea at all of what I should dress that day. I will look at my wardrobe over and over again, begging it for some sort of light and inspiration, hoping it will show me the way for the outfit du jour - on days like these, I will probably resort to my jeans and a loose fit silky blouse, that's what I call my "go-to-outfit-when-I-feel-I-could-scream-because-nothing-in-my-wardrobe-looks-dressable-and-I-just-feel-like-crying-and-staying-home".

But, sometimes, catching me completely by surprise, I will know exactly what I want to dress - I will be washing my teeth, taking a bath, having some breakfast, watching tv, talking to the Hubby or reading a magazine and just like a puzzle I will start piecing together my outfit du jour, all in my mind. I love days like these, days when unexplicably and out of nowhere I wake up with this energetic creativity, and ensembles that never before crossed my mind, appear clear as water :)

This was one of these days, a very good day - it all started with the peg-leg trousers which I simply adore. No, they are not the most flattering design, they don't do much for my behind, but I love them - I love how baggy they start on the waist and than become narrower just above the ankle, they are so comfortable but still stylish. Then the striped top slightly tight on the waist, balancing the baggy style of the trousers. Finally, the blazer, my current best friend - can't live without it, won't live without it - it just makes the whole ensemble look more elegant. This look is quintessential me - nothing really makes much sense together ;)

It was definitely a very good Sunday in the company of my lovely family and good friends ;)
