Girlie...

Sometimes simplicity wins over any instinct I might have to overthink my outfit du jour - on days like these, I find myself looking for something simple but yet sophisticated, something that doesn't scream "I'm here" but yet discreetly makes itself notice, something subtle but yet alluring.

And sometimes I just feel like being a girlie girl - and nothing like a dress with a fitted waist and full skirt to make you feel like a girlie girl :)

This dress and I, it was definitely a love at first sight affair: believe it or not but I have been forever struggling to find a little black dress, and I just think that this dark blue is a perfect substitute. But of course I had to add a detail that messed a little bit with the sobriety of the dress - so, I decided to pair it with this zebra-print-like jacket which I just love! And, like always or at least most times, the shoes have absolutely nothing to do with the whole ensemble - a little bit of pink and green for some fun :)

It was a fun night with a girlfriend, filled with cosmopolitans, "not so good for your figure but absolutely delicious nibblings" and a wonderful conversation :)
